My best friend is part of the LSU Women’s Lacrosse team.

Apparently the club has existed for a while, but this is the first year that they’ve been fully active.
And let me tell you guys, they have been working their asses off.
This past weekend they drove 10 hours to Norman, OK to play their first regular season games against Texas Tech and Oklahoma. For their first time playing together, they did extremely well, beating Texas Tech but falling to Oklahoma. This weekend, they’ll be traveling yet again, this time to Houston.
I just wanted to put this out there to everyone to help them get some recognition around campus… because they sure deserve it.
You can follow them at http://lsuwomenslax.tumblr.com/. On that page, you can see their team roster, their schedule for this spring, and you can find links to their facebook and twitter pages.
Hopefully we can have a good crowd to cheer on our Lady Tigers at their home games.
Thanks guys, and Geaux Tigers!

LOLOLOLOL. Ride the drunk bus to/from Tigerland one night and you’ll see what it means.

Go follow my personal.

Not hard. If you’re a first year student, just sign up for the lottery and you’re almost guaranteed tickets. If you’re a returning student who had tickets last year, you simply order your tickets whenever your tier is eligible.
If you’re not a student, you’ll have to get one of your friends (who is a student) to do a student guest upgrade. Basically, they’ll have to buy someone else’s ticket, and bring it to the ticket office to get it upgraded.

I personally have no problem with any of the Greek organizations on campus. Though they’re only really known for the drinking and partying (which, i’m not gonna lie, they throw some great parties and tailgates), they actually do a lot of great work for the University and around Baton Rouge. Would I ever pay to be in a fraternity or sorority? No. Do I think they’re a good part of LSU? Yes.

Pahahahah that would be the best!

Yea I totally agree on how it depends on the person! I’m a total extrovert and love being around people so the dorms were a great fit, but an apartment is definitely in the plans for next year for me.
